Prof. (GTU / Georgien) Dr. phil. Stephan J. Lang has been admitted to the Munich bar since 1994 and, as part of our cooperation, serves as a European lawyer for the greater Barcelona area and Mallorca. After completing a double degree in law and political science, he spent his legal traineeship in the legal department of the former Bayerische Vereinsbank in Munich and Paris. He then worked as a commercial lawyer at the New York law firm King & Spalding.

After successfully completing his doctorate, Prof. (GTU / Georgien) Dr. phil. Stephan J. Lang worked as a lawyer at the Federal Ministry of Defense and as a project manager at the University of the German Armed Forces. In this context, he also completed research fellowships in Rome, Washington and at Harvard University. Since 2013, he has also worked as a visiting professor at the GTU in Tbilisi.

As a European lawyer, he specializes in inheritance law and property succession. He also deals with corporate succession issues in Germany and France.

In his spare time, he plays golf, skis and is a keen sailor.
